Style of Chicago Returns To Grant Park This Weekend With Food items And Cost-free Performances From Nelly, Push-By Truckers

DOWNTOWN — Flavor of Chicago is returning to Grant Park’s Buckingham Fountain Plaza this weekend immediately after a two-12 months hiatus thanks to the pandemic.

Dozens of foods distributors, SummerDance classes and interactive family members activities will be obtainable 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Sunday around Buckingham Fountain plaza. There will be a beer corridor, wine tent and cocktail lounge, along with totally free admission to reside performances by artists Nelly, Nearby H, Woman K, Generate-By Truckers and Sadie Woods.

The celebration will mark the return of a single of Chicago’s signature activities. The fest was held with digital cooking demos in 2020 soon after COVID-19 strike in 2021, a modified, substantially smaller sized edition of the fest was held with neighborhood situations.

The Taste slashed charges and stopped working with tickets — among other modifications — to appeal to businesses to participate.

A beer hall and wine garden will serve up far more than 20 beers and an array of wine. A cocktail lounge will supply blended drinks and demonstrations.
