This may not surprise Ontarians, who most likely only ever venture out to “the far better side” of the falls when good friends or family stop by.

But Niagara Falls and other planet-renowned places didn’t make the record just for the reason that of how crowded they can get.

The report, carried out by vacation rental business Casago, defines the expression “tourist trap” as a tourism hotspot with establishments that focus on travellers with overpriced activities and souvenirs.

Subsequent guiding the California neighbourhood are Barcelona’s Las Ramblas, Dublin’s Temple Bar, and Iceland’s Blue Lagoon.
